Shaun Crawford + Better Gift Shop

Shaun Crawford is an NYC artist known for his unique take on tie-dye customization along with a wide body of work that ranges from fine art to adult-themed illustrations. For the release of the ‘Monochromatic Market’ collection with BETTER GIFT SHOP for Dover Street Market’s 15 Year Anniversary, I was commissioned to shoot and edit Crawford’s intricate tie-dying process. Pulling from the natural patterns and behavior of the shirts, the video serves as a representation of the color black and its psychedelic metamorphosis throughout all the articles of clothing.
